Boomer Esiason Blasts New York Giants Star Abdul Carter

Boomer Esiason responded to a potential controversy brewing within the New York Giants locker room.

Jaxson Dart introduced Donald Trump ahead of a speech in Suffern, New York, last Friday. Carter reacted to a clip of his Giants teammate at the event on social event.

"Thought this s--- was AI," Carter wrote in a since-deleted post. "What we doing man."

Esiason, who earlier this year told U.S. Olympic athletes critical of Trump to "pipe down and just do their sport," feels that Dart did nothing wrong by introducing Trump. Instead, the former Pro Bowl quarterback went after Carter for publicly calling out his fellow 2025 first-round pick.

"This was a real error on the part of Abdul Carter, not on the part of Jaxson Dart," Esiason said on WFAN. "Jaxson Dart was asked to introduce the President of the United States. How many people get an opportunity to do something like that, regardless of who the president is?"

Esiason blasts Carter's "ridiculous" move

Carter followed up in another deleted tweet that he and Dart are "good" after having a conversation "as men." Esiason used that comment to keep criticizing the 22-year-old pass rusher.

The radio host recalled Carter's desire to wear No. 56, which the Giants have retired in honor of Lawrence Taylor. The Hall of Fame linebacker, who was appointed to Trump's newly formed President's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition last year, denied Carter's request.

Esiason seems to believe Carter should have gone directly to Dart before commenting on X.

"To put this out like a child on social media is ridiculous. And then when I heard, 'Yeah we spoke man to man.' There was only one man on that call, and that was Jaxson Dart," Esiason claimed. "You were a man who was late to meetings. You were a man who didn't live up to your draft choice. You're a man who wanted to wear No. 56. And by the way, your idol No. 56 has introduced Donald Trump numerous times, so I don't want to hear this. He made another just boneheaded error by going to social media."
