Indiana Fever Star Caitlin Clark Comments on First-Ever Move

Caitlin Clark returned to action on Friday after briefly being sidelined due to a back issue. She led the Indiana Fever to a 90-82 win over the Golden State Valkyries, recording 22 points, two rebounds and nine assists.

While much of the focus was on her health setback and return - admitting pregame that she's still overcoming the mental hurdles of the long-term injury she suffered last season - Clark also touched on her project off the court while speaking to reporters.

Clark announced on Thursday that she's releasing her picture book on Nov. 3. She also revealed that it's now available for preorder. When asked about it, the Fever star couldn't hide her excitement.

"Yeah, it was fun to write," Clark shared. "You can buy the book and you'll understand there's a true like meaning behind it, of this mirror that I grew up with on my childhood bedroom and my parents still have."

She added, "It's really cool, really personal, and I think it turned out really well and something that I'm super proud of."

The 24-year-old guard also clarified that the picture book, titled "EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams," is the first-ever book she has written.

"Obviously, there are a lot of books out there that people think I wrote. This is the first book I've ever wrote, so buy this book. Don't buy the other books," Clark said with a smile.

Clark proceeded to encourage fans to purchase the book when it's released, describing it as a "cool book" that has a "special message."

"It's a cool book, so I hope people buy it and can share it with with young kids. It's a special message," Clark stated.

Clark's upcoming picture book is a story of perseverance, highlighting how small but consistent effort can lead to great results.
