Details Emerge From WWE Star Ludwig Kaiser's Troubling Arrest

TMZ broke the news this Thursday that WWE superstar Ludwig Kaiser has been arrested.

Kaiser, whose real name is Marcel Barthel, was arrested Wednesday for battery. According to a police report that TMZ obtained, he got physical with his neighbor in Orlando, Florida. This incident apparently started in an elevator on April 23.

Although both sides of the story haven't been released yet, it sounds like Kaiser wasn't thrilled about his neighbor criticizing his manners.

"As the elevator ascended, Kaiser and the woman started making out right in front of the neighbor, and their passion grew to an 'uncontrollably intimate' level with their aggressive kissing, according to the report. When they reached the 12th floor, both parties allegedly got off the elevator, and the neighbor told the couple to 'please have some manners.' That comment triggered an angry response from Kaiser, who allegedly pummeled his neighbor and shoved him to the floor," TMZ reported.

Kaiser also allegedly threatened the neighbor. He was booked into the Orange County Jail on misdemeanor battery and was released after posting bail.

Who is Ludwig Kaiser?

The WWE signed Kaiser in 2017 after he had stints with Westside Xtreme Wrestling in Germany and Progress Wrestling in the UK.

"The son of European wrestling legend Axel Dieter, Kaiser trained in amateur boxing and grappling in his youth in preparation for one day entering the squared circle. That day arrived in 2007, when he began learning the ropes under his father," his WWE bio states. "Over the next 10 years, Kaiser established himself as one of the German independent wrestling scene's brightest prospects. He joined the WWE Performance Center in summer 2017 and made his WWE Network debut a year later on NXT."

As of now, Kaiser is set to face Chad Gable on May 30. It's unclear if this match will be called off.
