Brock Bowers Gets Unique Compliment From Raiders HC Klint Kubiak
Brock Bowers is already one of the best tight ends in the league as he heads into his third NFL season.
Bowers joined the NFL ranks as the Las Vegas Raiders No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 draft. In his rookie season, the former Georgia Bulldogs standout reeled in 112 catches for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns. With these numbers, he set the all-time NFL records for rookie receptions and rookie tight end receiving yards.
Bowers’ second NFL season was hindered by injury issues. Through 12 game appearances and eight starts, the superstar TE recorded 64 receptions for 680 yards and seven touchdowns.
Bowers is now preparing for his third NFL season with a new head coach: Klint Kubiak.
Kubiak gave Bowers a unique compliment when speaking to reporters in a recent press conference.
“He’s kind of a football robot - in a good way,” Kubiak said. “He’s a football robot from heaven.”
“We’ve got to get the most out of Brock,” he continued. “Wherever he goes, he’s been successful. In college, in high school. Whoever’s coached him. I can’t say enough great things about him. Love his work ethic.”

Bowers will be a focal point of the Raiders’ offense in 2026, alongside second-year running back Ashton Jeanty.
Raiders offensive coordinator Andrew Janocko has been impressed with what he’s seen from both of these players thus far.
"Two huge competitors," Janocko said, via Raiders.com. "Two guys that are pedal-to-the-floor all the time. If we get an hour on the field, that's an hour of full-speed work. We get 30 minutes on the field, that's … 30 minutes of all they've got.

"So those are two guys that don't know another gear; they only know how to go and how to work hard, and that kind of sets the pace for what we want to be and where we want to go."
