MLB Home Run Predictions Today: HR Prop Bets for Monday, May 18
It's the "Monday Moonshot Monitor," and several hitters are walking into perfect spots to do damage. Between struggling pitchers, fly-ball issues and a few bats heating up at the right time, the setup is there for a big night of long balls across the slate.
We have Alec Bohm bringing a hot bat into a matchup against a lefty he's already handled well, Dillon Dingler facing a pitcher getting crushed by right-handed power, and Casey Schmitt staying red hot against a struggling starter he's already taken deep before. If you're hunting home run props Monday night, these are bats with serious moonshot potential.

Best Home Run Props Today
Alec Bohm Home Run Bet (+568)
Bohm feels like a pretty nice home run play Monday against Nick Lodolo. Bohm has been heating up in May, hitting .313 this month, and he's done most of his power damage against lefties. He's also had success against Lodolo before with a home run and two doubles off him already. Lodolo's 8.68 ERA doesn't exactly inspire confidence either. With Bohm squaring the ball up well lately, this feels like a good spot for another long ball.
Dillon Dingler Home Run Bet(+594)
Dingler feels like a fun home run target Monday night against Slade Cecconi. Dingler already has eight bombs this season, and seven of them have come against right-handed pitching. Cecconi has also struggled badly with righties, giving up a .330 average and five home runs to them already. Add in his 6.60 ERA on the road and all the fly balls he allows, and this feels like a pretty nice setup for Dingler to go deep Monday night.
Casey Schmitt Home Run Bet (+505)
Schmitt feels like a fun home run target Monday night against Zac Gallen. Schmitt stayed hot over the weekend with two bombs and now has eight home runs while batting .297 this season. He's also mashed righties all year and already has a home run off Gallen in his career. Gallen has been a mess in May with an 8.79 ERA and four home runs allowed, so this feels like another really good spot for Schmitt to stay hot.
