May 14-Hendrix Flick of Ridgefield boys soccer is The Columbian 2025-26 Week 25 high school athlete of the week, sponsored by Killer Burger.

Flick received 664 of the 1,226 votes cast last week to win the honor, which is the last of the 2025-26 season.

The senior goalkeeper recorded 13 saves to preserve a 1-0 win for the Spudders over Aberdeen in a 2A district playoff match.

Nominees are selected by The Columbian staff after a review of the previous week's results. Suggestions for nominees can by made by anyone, but must be received by noon Monday for consideration.

Winners of the athlete-of-the-week may not be nominated again during the regular season, and no athlete may be nominated in consecutive weeks.

Nominees are posted and voting begins each Monday and runs through Wednesday.

Here are the other Week 25 nominees:

SHREYA ANDEY, UNION GIRS TENNIS: The freshman dropped just seven games over three straight-set victories to capture the 4A District 4 singles championships.

ADDI CHRISTENSEN, WOODLAND SOFTBALL: The senior went 7 for 12 with eight runs, two doubles, three home runs and eight RBI in three wins for the Beavers.

KOLTEN GESSER, SETON CATHOLIC BASEBALL: The senior threw a two-hit shutout to clinch the Trico League title for the Cougars and went 3 for 7 with two home runs and four RBI in two wins.

ALYSSA RIGBY, MOUNTAIN VIEW GOLF: The sophomore shot a 1-over par 143 for 36 holes to win the 3A district title by 40 shots at Mint Valley.
