Cristiano Ronaldo Slams Referee Bias Claims in Saudi Pro League: 'Stop That, This Is Not Football'
Al Nassr pulled off an important win in the Saudi Pro League after beating Al Ahli 2-0 at home.
With this win, Al Nassr are first with 79 points after 30 games played and only need seven more points to secure their first league title since the 2018-19 season. Al Nassr has practically taken Al Ahli out of the title race as well.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Kingsley Coman scored the two goals in the second half to secure these three crucial points in the title race in Saudi Arabia.
After the match, Ronaldo was very ecstatic with this win, as it got Al Nassr closer to the league title and went on to call out claims that his team has been favored by the referees in the Saudi Pro League this season.
For the post-match interview, tension with Al Ahli was mentioned, and Ronaldo said, "I'm going to have time to speak at the end of the season because I see many bad things. Many players complain, post on Instagram and Facebook, speaking about the referees and the league. This is not good...Stop that, speak with the SPL because for me this is not football."

Who is Cristiano Ronaldo Calling Out?
With the question suggesting the tension with Al Ahli, many fans immeeditaly though of Al Ahli striker Ivan Toney.
A few weeks ago, Ivan Toney was furious after believing that the referee denied two clear penalty kicks for his team during the 1-1 draw with Al Fayha.
Toney's comments went viral after claiming that the referee told Al Ahli players to focus on the AFC Champions League instead of the league after protesting for a penalty. Toney's comments suggested that referees are favoring the team who are topping the league, which is Al Nassr.
Toney said, "I have a lot to say. They (Al Fayha) defended well, but the most important thing is the two blatant penalties that weren't called. When we started talking about it with the referee, he said to us: 'Focus on the AFC (the Asian Champions League).' How can a referee say that? We talk to him, and he tells us to focus on the AFC?"
When asked who benefits from refereeing injustice for Al Ahli, Toney said, "We know for whom. Those we're chasing."

« J'ai beaucoup de choses à dire. Ils (Al Fayha) ont bien défendu, mais le plus important, ce sont les deux penalties flagrants qui n'ont pas été sifflés.
