The first Champions League semifinal is PSG vs Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes. The match today is the first leg of this semifinal matchup.

The two teams reached this stage after winning their respective quarterfinal matches a few weeks ago.

PSG eliminated Liverpool in the quarterfinals and won 4-0 on aggregate. In the first leg, PSG defeated Liverpool 2-0 in Paris. For the second leg, PSG defeated Liverpool 2-0 again, but at Anfield.

Bayern Munich eliminated Real Madrid by beating them 6-4 on aggregate over two legs. In the first leg, Bayern defeated Real Madrid 2-1 away at the Bernabeu. In the seocnd leg, Bayern defeated Real Madrid 4-3 at the Allianz Arena.

PSG and Bayern Munich faced off earlier this season in the league format of the Champions League. Bayern Munich defeated PSG 2-1 at the Parc des Princes with two goals from Luis Diaz on November 4, 2025.
