Women's Tennis Star Turned Playboy Model Announces Divorce
A former women's tennis star turned Playboy model has announced a divorce from her husband after 16 years.
Harkleroad and her husband, Chuck Adams, are divorcing after 16 years of marriage, according to TMZ. Adams, 54, filed for divorce from Harkleroad, 40, earlier this month, citing "irreconcilable differences."
The husband is seeking joing custody of their two kids. They have a son, Charlie, 17, a 6-foot guard in the class of 2028, and a daughter, Cissy, 15, a Fila-sponsored tennis player.
Harkleroad posed for the cover of Playboy in 2008. The couple got married a year later in 2009.
Harkleroad addressed her Playboy cover several years ago.
"Happy August, I'm a day late but thought I'd post a #fbf to 2008 Playboy August edition. So there. If insta was around in 08 I'm sure this post would have gone off…good or bad. Oh yea, last thing-judged me or anyone else for doing something so risky? Just know that no one ever made a name for themselves by playing it safe #playboy I will always have this cover and this memory to keep and remember forever. AND unless YOU were ever asked to pose for one of the most popular magazines in the world then you could never understand or fathom OR have any right to judge me and my decision to say yes some 12 years ago #hardtruth," she wrote.
Harkleroad was previously married to men's tennis pro, Alex Bogomolov Jr. prior to her second marriage.
