Megan Rapinoe Grabs Attention In 'Tiny' White Swimsuit Photo After Breakup

Megan Rapinoe is back on the market.

The longtime U.S. women's national team star and her longtime girlfriend, Sue Bird, announced this week that they have broken up. They had been together for roughly a decade and had previously gotten engaged.

"There really is no smooth or easy way to share this news. After a lot of thought, we've made the decision to separate as a couple," they said in a statement.

The two had hosted a podcast together, as well.

"We have shared so much of our life, so much of our relationship with you. So that's why we wanted to come on here and share this too," Bird said. "These past 10 years have given us so much and launching this podcast and sharing this space has been one of our favorite things that we've done together."

Both Rapinoe and Bird are not back on the dating market.

Rapinoe turned heads in a "tiny" white swimsuit photo following the breakup, in a throwback post from Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

She made history with the photoshoot.

It's unclear at this time what Rapinoe and Bird will do moving forward, both dating wise and business wise, as they've long been partners in both.

For now, though, they're simply looking to stand strong following the breakup.
