Caitlin Clark, Stephanie White Draw Attention on Thursday

Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White will play a pivotal role in Caitlin Clark's third season in the WNBA.

There is a lot of excitement surrounding Clark's upcoming campaign, especially after she was limited to just 13 games last season due to injury. The two-time All-Star announced her return with an MVP campaign in the FIBA Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in March. White was one of the assistant coaches for Team USA, allowing her to reunite with Clark during the offseason.

White had an impressive first season with the Fever in 2025. Despite all the injuries they had to deal with all year long, the former WNBA Coach of the Year still led Indiana to its first Commissioner's Cup championship in franchise history. They also reached the WNBA playoffs semifinals.

Clark and White took some time away from basketball on Thursday. Along with general manager Amber Cox and the Fever coaching staff, they spearheaded the organization's latest project with Habitat for Humanity.

Clark and Co. returned to Gainbridge Fieldhouse to begin construction on a new home for a local family in Indianapolis. According to Fever reporter Scot Agness, the project is expected to be completed by October.

Clark and White, along with the other team representatives, drew praise on social media for their actions.
