Warriors Fans React to Steph Curry Injury Scare During Clippers Game

The Golden State Warriors kept their season alive Wednesday night with a dramatic 126-121 comeback victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in the Western Conference play-in tournament.

Stephen Curry once again delivered in the biggest moments, finishing with 35 points, including 27 in the second half, as Golden State overturned a late deficit to seize control of the game. Curry shot 12-for-23 from the field and provided the offensive spark that carried the Warriors through a tense finish.

Golden State's surge came in a dominant fourth quarter, where the Warriors outscored the Clippers 43-32 to complete the rally. Draymond Green anchored the effort with nine assists and crucial defensive plays, while veteran forward Al Horford added four three-pointers. Together, their late-game execution helped swing momentum decisively in Golden State's favor.

Curry's defining moment came when he buried a go-ahead three-pointer that gave the Warriors a 120-117 lead and ultimately sealed the win. While celebrating the shot, he appeared to briefly tweak his ankle, creating an immediate scare for Golden State fans.

Although Curry remained in the game and finished without visible limitation, fans couldn't help but react to the incident.

"Whew didn't even notice that," one fan wrote.

"Almost twisted thank god didn't get any worse," another fan reacted.

"His ankles are really cooked, omg," a third fan posted.

"Rolling your ankle on the celly would be an all timer," one fan said.

"That man ankles really paper lol," another fan posted.

"His ankles' holding on by a thread," added another.

Given how critical Curry's health is to the team's postseason hopes, Golden State cannot afford another injury to its best play. The two-time MVP only recently returned from a knee issue that sidelined him for 27 consecutive games. His absence played a major role in Golden State slipping to the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference standings.

The Warriors now move on to another elimination test, traveling on Friday for a win-or-go-home matchup against the Phoenix Suns. The winner will claim the No. 8 seed in the West and advance to face the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder, owners of the NBA's best regular-season record.

If Golden State is to extend its postseason run, Curry's health and production will remain central to everything.
