Anacortes American Boys Athlete of the Week: Wes Green

Anacortes baseball player Wes Green had quite the day Saturday, April 11, in a nonconference game against Enumclaw.

The senior drove in four runs in a 12-11 win.

Green was 3-for-4 with a home run, triple and three runs scored.

He also pitched two innings to earn a save.

Green's week also included a 1-for-4 day Monday, April 6, in a 5-2 Northwest Conference win against Burlington.

In helping Anacortes start its season 8-5, Green also had a 3-for-3 day March 24 against Mount Baker, and pitched four shutout innings March 17 against Bellingham.
