Teen dies in Puyallup motorcycle crash
A 19-year-old man died in a Puyallup collision Monday, according to Washington State Patrol.
The teen was headed east on a 2014 Honda CBR650 motorcycle at the intersection of East Pioneer Way and Highway 512 around 3:20 p.m. The teen tried to change lanes and struck a white 2023 Chevrolet Silverado, troopers said.
The Honda rider, identified as Evan Johnson, of Sumner, died at the scene. He had been wearing a helmet.
State troopers said alcohol and drugs did not appear to be factors.
