WestSide High School open house and carnival Thursday
WestSide High School families Thursday will have a chance to play games and learn about the school's unique program options as a part of an open house and carnival on the school's campus.
Thursday's carnival from 6-7:30 p.m. is hosted in partnership with Communities in Schools of North Central Washington, a chapter of a statewide nonprofit supporting schools and students.
WestSide High School, located at 1509 Ninth St. in Wenatchee, is a part of the Wenatchee School District and is meant as an alternative for high school students with "small class sizes, self-paced learning and a staff deeply committed to building relationships," according to a district news release.
Students behind on credits, "managing social anxiety or medical needs or simply looking for a stronger connection to school," may be served better at WestSide High School, according to the news release.
The school is currently accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year. Students from outside the district can apply for admission, and anyone interested in learning more can attend Thursday's open house or reach out to the school directly at 509-663-7947 or visit wenatcheeschools.org/wshs.
