Kennewick couple found unconscious in car with child, heroin

A Kennewick man and woman were arrested on drug charges after being found slumped in a car with a child — with heroin and drug paraphernalia in plain view.

Officers found Anthony Micahel Paladin, 29, and Starr C. Link, 26, inside the car May 31 on the 3100 block of West Clearwater Avenue.

A further search of the car led police to find more drugs and drug paraphernalia, as well as cash, said police.

Paladin was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of possessing heroin and he remains in custody. Link was booked on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine but was released.

Details about the child were not released but the child was turned over to Child Protection Services.
