Fire damages Grandview residence

An early Sunday fire damaged a home in Grandview.

The Grandview Fire Department received a report of a fire in the 800 block of Wine Country Road at 2:36 a.m.

Firefighters found flames coming from the front of the building when they arrived. Grandview firefighters were joined by Sunnyside and West Benton County Fire District 3 in extinguishing the blaze.

The fire was under control within an hour.

No one was in the residence at the time of the fire.
