Moses Lake woman injured in car fire on I-82

A 59-year-old Moses Lake woman was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Saturday night after she was burned in a car fire about 14 miles south of Ellensburg.

Bernadette M. Chausee was driving west on Interstate 82 at about 8 p.m. when her 1970 Buick Electra caught on fire, the Washington State Patrol reported.

The cause is unknown, the state patrol said.

Chausee was in serious condition at Harborview on Sunday.
