Diabetes health fair planned Nov. 14 in Richland

The Tri-Cities Diabetes Coalition plans a free diabetes health fair 8:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 14 in Richland.

“The mission of our coalition is to implement diabetes education awareness. This fair allows health specialists in our region to address diabetes issues and gives the community free access to experts,” said Laili Abd Latif, a Benton Franklin Health District dietitian.

Speakers will touch on topics including nutrition, physical activity and taking care of your feet.

The event sponsored by UnitedHealthcare Community Plan is at Bethel Church, 600 Shockley Road.
