SARC walk Saturday to support crime victims

The Sexual Assault Response Center and Crime Service Center is sponsoring a "Strides of Strength" walk.

The walk is to show support for victims of all crimes, according to organizers.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and the walk is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lord of Life Church, 640 N. Columbia Center Blvd., Kennewick.

Every participant will receive a balloon. After the walk, all the balloons will be popped and the participant with the slip of paper inside the balloon revealing the agency's new name will win $100.

The most decorated group will win a $50 prize, and all other participants will be entered into a $100 drawing.
