Little Goose fishing wall closure extended

The tailrace fishing wall and day-use area of Little Goose Dam near Starbuck has been temporarily closed until further notice.

The Army Corps previously had announced a closure through Saturday.

Friday the Corps said that the bridge crossing the downstream lock approach will be out of service at least through Tuesday. Contractors are moving a downstream lock gate leaf out of position to replace parts that allow it to pivot.
