Longtime fan of REI? Tell us what you like and don't like

Issaquah-based REI has gone through a slew of changes since its founding in 1938, and we want to know how you feel about where the co-op stands and its likely future direction.

Like other retailers, REI has navigated unprofitability and layoffs in the post-COVID era. The co-op has also been in stalled negotiations with a budding unionization movement among its store workers.

REI had stepped out of offering travel experiences, then brought back a version of those efforts last year in a partnership with a tour operator.

The Seattle Times wants to hear more from co-op members and workers about their thoughts on recent changes.

Please complete the form below, and a Times business reporter might contact you to ask further questions. None of your information will be used without your permission. If you can't view the form, click here.
