Stubborn Saint Bernard Decides Walk Time Is Officially Over
Having a dog in the family means going for walks as part of a routine, structured exercise plan. It's important for a dog's health, but sometimes a dog has other ideas, which makes sticking to that plan harder than it should be.
In this clip, we meet a giant Saint Bernard dog who isn't the biggest fan of exercise, specifically walking, and when she's done walking for the day, she makes it very clear to her parents. She's hilariously stubborn, and you need to give it a watch.

TikTok user @wynniethest.bernard shared a video of a stunning, cute Saint Bernard named Wynnie. In the clip, it's exercise time, and it's clear pretty quickly that exercise isn't Wynnie's thing. She has a walking limit, and her approach to saying she's done is to literally just be done and sit down. Yes, wherever she is, including the road.

In the comments, people shared many similar stories and commiserated about how funny but frustrating it is when a dog does this.
One comment explained, "Oh, goodness. Too funny! Our late Old English Bulldog was just like this. Eventually, my husband would have to put him on his lap in his wheelchair, and I would have to push my hubby's wheelchair back home."
Other comments included, "Walk her with me-she suddenly can run and jump then," "As a Saint owner I can relate. Sometimes I drive my girl somewhere to take her for a walk and she refuses to get out of the car," and "My Newf does this to a lesser extent, she just locks her knees and gives the biggest puppy eyes."

How Much Exercise Does a Saint Bernard Need?
Wynnie knows her limits, and she also knows there's not much her parents can do when she's reached them during her walks. As a Saint Bernard, exercise is very important for overall health, which means daily walks.
According to the American Kennel Club, the Saint Bernard is a big dog, which means exercise is important, but this breed is in the middle in terms of energy levels, landing right between "couch potatoes" and "high energy," and they're in the same spot for mental stimulation needs as well. The club notes that although this is a large breed dog, they only need "moderate" exercise, which is basically one long walk or half-hour play sessions. But they're also game to do longer hikes, camping, or backpacking. To them, exercise doesn't feel like work if they're doing it with their family.
Wynnie, though, just knows her limits, and she's got no interest in going beyond that. Which is hilarious.
