Prosecutors claim Pedroza-DeSantiago was leaving a Pasco grocery store in February 2015 when he stumbled into victim Juan C. Melgoza and argued over Melgoza's red clothing. They allege Pedroza-DeSantiago returned a short time later and shot him in the back.
