Report: Tom Holland confirms he is married to Zendaya

June 16 (UPI) -- After months of media speculation and A.I. wedding fake-outs, Tom Holland has confirmed to Esquire that he and his Spider-Man co-star Zendaya are married.

Asked by the author of the article if his family was fooled by the faux wedding pictures, the 30-year-old actor responded, "No, because they were all there.

"That's all you'll get on that," he added.

Zendaya's stylist Law Roach told Access Hollywood at the Actor Awards on March 1 that the couple was already married.

Although he didn't offer details about the event, he did speak at length about his relationship with his partner of more than five years.

"Our business can present very stressful situations and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time," Holland said.

"We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it's like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don't understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else," he added.

"So, for me, I found my person. She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I ever have been when I'm with her, but I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period. Maybe when I was young with my parents and my dad was picking me up from school. Not to say that our relationship is like my mum and dad."

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in March, Zendaya said wedding photos of her and Holland making the rounds were not real.

She also jokingly shared photos of her from the movie The Drama in which her character tied the knot with the man Robert Pattinson played, however Holland's face was clumsily pasted over Pattinson's.

"That's real!" Zendaya quipped. "I was there!"

She talked about how Holland is the better cook out of the two of them during a recent visit to The Jennifer Hudson Show.
