2016 Best Lawyer/Attorney: Brian Roach
Brian Roach entered the room with confidence and an assuring presence, just the kind of person you’d want in your corner if you needed a driving under the influence defense attorney. Roach “believes in the humanity of people who are otherwise not criminal, but need a defense.”
He has deep familial ties to the community, and his firm, Roach & Bishop, LLP can trace back their roots more than 60 years. “I’m the oldest of 44 grandchildren,” said Roach. “My grandmother was the first baby to be born at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.”
A graduate of Pasco High School, Roach is an active member of St. Patrick’s Parish in Pasco, and has served on the board of directors for Catholic Family and Child Services of the Tri-Cities and Tri-Cities Preparatory School.
Roach’s careful knowledge of the law, along with his dignified demeanor, sets people at ease who are otherwise in a difficult situation. “This line of work is not easy,” said Roach. “You’re invested in the humanity of your client. That really influences how you wake up and how you go to sleep at night.”
A graduate of Seattle University, Roach majored in political science and later ventured to Spokane to pursue his legal degree at Gonzaga University after working for Congressman Doc Hastings in Washington, D.C.
Roach’s credentials are outstanding, as he is a member of the Washington State and Federal Bars, the American Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, just to name a few. He and his team live up to their history and commitment to the people of the Tri-Cities.
