Vancouver 3, Tri-City 0 (mid-2nd): What a weird inning. Vancouver scores three runs on one hit, scoring on two errors including one that first baseman Miguel De Leon would like to forget.

With one out and a runner on second, a grounder was hit to De Leon. He bobbled it, picked it up, touched first and flipped the ball to the mound and began walking off the field. The problem? It wasn't the end of the inning. The run scored and the batter tripled in another run, ending Padilla's night and bringing Matt Flemer in out of the bullpen.

3 runs on 1 hit, with 2 errors and 1 left on base. Padilla threw 16 balls and 19 pitches in the inning, finishing with 48 pitches overall. Flemer threw 4 pitches, three for strikes.

Tri-City 0, Vancouver 0 (end-1st): Javier Avendano worked around a leadoff single, striking out Tom Murphy and inducing two fly outs to right field.

0 runs on 1 hit, with 0 errors and 1 left on base. Avendano threw 13 pitches, nine for strikes.

Tri-City 0, Vancouver 0 (mid-1st): Roberto Padilla works a perfect first, striking out Matt Newman on three pitches to end the inning.

0 runs on 0 hits with 0 errors and 0 left on base. Padilla threw 13 pitches, nine for strikes.

Pregame: About 8 minutes from first pitch, and it is hot! Pretty small crowd, but that is to be expected when it's in the triple digits.
