The Lewis-Clark State women's basketball season came to an end Friday, as the Warriors lost 70-61 to Lubbock Christian at the NAIA Division I national tournament in Frankfort, Ky.
Lubbock Christian finished 21-of-25 from the line, taking advantage of major foul trouble for LCSC (29-5 overall). LCSC led 27-26 at the half, but the Chaparrals (27-5) went on a 33-16 run to open the second half.
La Salle graduate Jasmine Stohr's 18 points and nine rebounds led the Warriors, while freshman Brittaney Niebergall added 14 points, six assists and five steals.
Stohr ends her career with 2,143 points, putting her third in scoring all time at LCSC. She is first in free throws made at 460.
