Ex-UI player, coach joins WSU football staff

The Wazzu football team has a new linebackers coach, former Idaho player and head coach Chris Tormey. He spent the past two years working with special teams and safeties at Hawaii. Other notable jobs on Tormey's resume include a four-year tenure as Nevada's head coach and two stints as an assistant at UW.

Tormey will oversee a unit that includes up-and-comer C.J. Mizell and upperclassmen Louis Bland, Alex Hoffman-Ellis and River View product Mike Ledgerwood.
