Why do the CBBN 4A basketball teams not play doubleheaders?
The boys and the girls both play at 7:30 p.m. in opposite cities.
I assume it’s so the girls games, which typically would not draw as many fans as the boys, are in primetime, rather than earlier in the evening. I don’t know that for sure, but it’s what I assume.
The Class 1B-3A boys and girls basketball teams play doubleheaders. Not sure there is a right or a wrong way, just wondering why.

Also, doesn’t it double the cost of roadtrips for the 4A school districts? That is an extra trip to Moses Lake, Wenatchee, Walla Walla and Yakima each CBBN 4A season.
Any theories out there?
