CHL poll Week 7

The Quebec Remparts (15-1-0-1) kept their place at the top of the weekly CHL poll, while the Saskatoon Blades (11-5-0-0) fell from No. 2 to No. 5.

The Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors (12-2-0-0) moved from fourth to second, followed by the Portland Winterhawks (12-2-0-1), who have won six straight and nine of their last 10 games. Portland was at No. 7 last week.

The Kootenay Ice (11-4-0-1) made its first appearance in the poll, coming in at No. 9, while the Red Deer Rebels (11-6-0-0) were an honorable mention selection.

The Tri-City Americans, with an 11-4-1-1 record, are right up there with some of these teams, but their inconsistent play has scouts looking the other way.
