On the dotted line: Everett’s Landon Ferraro signed a three-year entry level contract with the Detroit Red Wings. Trade winds: The Saskatoon Blades traded left-winger Curt Gogol, 19, and a 2011 eighth-round bantam draft pick to Chilliwack Bruins in exchange for Chris Collins, 18. Collins has the ability to play both center and left-wing.
Streak ends at 7: The Kootenay Ice had its seven-game win streak halted by Chilliwack on Tuesday as the Bruins handed the Central Division leaders a 6-2 loss in Cranbrook. Six different players scored for the Bruins.
Pickard Fence: Seattle Thunderbirds goalie Calvin Pickard stopped 46 of 47 shots Tuesday in a 4-1 victory over the Red Deer Rebels. The T-birds were outshot 47-17.
