I have seen them and they are beautiful.
I got a peek at the Americans U.S. Division and regular-season championship banners Thursday and the big red beauties will make a statement at Toyota Center.
No longer one of the only teams not to have won a banner (Prince George, Chilliwack and Edmonton still have empty rafters) in the WHL, the Americans will unveil the banners Saturday before their home opener against the Kelowna Rockets.
For those who want their own little piece of history, small (about 6 inches long) replica banners (which also are very nice) will be handed out during the season.
