Not just for airports anymore

An interesting note on the Americans website:

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, in cooperation with the City of Kennewick, is conducting tests of equipment to detect explosives.

All patrons entering Toyota Center are advised that they and their personal belongings are subject to a security inspection.

Patrons who do not wish to participate in the test should avoid the Northwest corner parking lot (near the roundabout) and the Main 1 entrance.

The screenings will take place from Sept. 26 until Nov. 9 and will affect nine home games.

Seems like a good time to clean out the car and buy a smaller purse.
