Tacoma Tide FC will conclude its Premier Development League soccer season at 1 p.m. today with a home match against the Kitsap Pumas (11-0-3) in University Place.
The Tide (5-6-4) has been eliminated from playoff contention. However, at stake today is the first Narrows Bridge Bell, marking the rivalry between these clubs from different shores of Puget Sound.
The bell will be awarded annually based on aggregate goals over the home and road matches. And because the derby began May 15 with a 1-1 draw in Bremerton, today’s winner takes the hardware.
The game will be played at Curtis High School’s Viking Stadium.
