Roman Horak and Brandon Magee scored 6 minutes apart in the third period and Chilliwack used the man-advantage to open a two-goal margin and hold on for a 4-3 win over the visiting Tri-City Americans on Friday night.
Adam Hughesman scored twice for the Ams, both times on the power play in the second period as Tri-City opened a 2-1 lead eight minutes into the period.
But Kevin Sundher knotted the game just before the break, and Horak provided the lead 31 seconds into the third.
Brooks Macek added a score -- also on the power play -- with three minutes left to pull TC within a goal.
