The Tri-Cities Fever scored 10 points in the final 3 minutes, 41 seconds of Friday night’s Indoor Football League game to beat the Colorado Crush 39-31 in Loveland, Colo.
Newly signed kicker Daniel Zeidman made a 41-yard field goal to give the Fever a 32-31 lead.
Tri-Cities (3-4) increased its lead on a 46-yard touchdown pass from Patrick McCain to Dejuan Miller with 33 seconds remaining.
McCain, who entered for the Fever on the game’s second play after Hunter Wanket took a hit to the head, finished 12-of-25 passing for 178 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.
Miller had four catches for 113 yards and two TDs.
Zeidman hit two field goals and was 3 of 5 on extra-point attempts.
Stephen Godbolt recorded a team-high 11 tackles and also had an interception and a pass breakup for the Fever, who won their season series against the Crush (0-7).
Tri-Cities will face the Spokane Empire at 7:05 p.m. next Saturday at Toyota Center.
