Legion roundup: Pepsi-Cola Dusters grab pair of wins
Hoping to host the district tournament, the Pepsi-Cola Dusters A grabbed two victories Wednesday that helped them take control of the district lead.
The Dusters scored a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat the Kennewick Phantoms 7-6. Payton Flynn, who came on in the fifth, earned the victory in relief.
Then, Flynn and Dawson Daniels each went 3-for-4 in a 12-6 win over the Richland Knights.
The Dusters improved to 16-4 with one game remaining, while the Knights dropped to 14-4 with a three-game set left against the Moses Lake Sun Devils.
