Bandits lose tourney opener
The Southridge Bandits stranded 13 base runners in a 6-4 loss to Taylor Baseball (Seattle) on Thursday in their opening game of the Curt Daniels Invite in Portland.
They are a quality team and they had some good arms,” Bandits coach Tim Sanders said. “We were right there with them in the end. We had the bases loaded in the seventh with the right guys hitting. The baseball Gods weren’t with us today.”
The Bandits will play Showtime (Portland) at 11 a.m. today.
