Plew leads Kennewick Outlaws to UW Tourney win

Colton Plew struck out seven batters and surrendered two hits over six innings as the Kennewick Outlaws AAA team beat Rake Nation of Colorado 1-0 in the UW Tournament in Seattle on Friday.

“Colton kept them off-balance all day,” said Outlaws coach Nate Holdren. “This team we played has a 35-man roster, with no high school kids and all college kids, so it’s quite the upset. We’re the only American Legion team here. All of the others are select teams.”

The Outlaws (20-5) scored their only run in the second inning on an error. Kennewick has two contests today.
