Thursday's summer baseball
Burbank Diamondbacks 10-8; Richland Raptors 7-6: Burbank’s Tim Ellis went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs in the second game to help the Diamondbacks sweep the Richland Raptors in Senior Babe Ruth action at Horn Rapids.
Richland, which scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to pull within 8-6, ran out of time as the second game was called because of darkness.
In the opener, Paden Kottwitz and Jimmy Gifford each drove in two runs, andthe Diamondbacks (4-0, 5-1 overall) took advantage of seven Raptor errors in a 10-7 victory.

Matt Woodman allowed two runs on four hits over seven innings, while Connor Perryman and Mitch Piper combined for five runs in a Game 2 win as Richland completed a CWL Junior Legion doubleheader over visiting Pasco 13-3 and 10-2 on Wednesday.
Brandon Humphries also tossed a complete game win for the Knights in the opener, and Piper went 4-for-4 with two RBIs.
