Baseball: Twin City Titans win Boise title

Jesse Houser hit a two-run double in the third and Mason Hilty supplemented it with a three-run double in the fifth as the Twin City Titans waxed the Washington Waves (Seattle) 8-4 in the River City Classic championship game in Boise on Sunday.

“We showed up and played good solid offensive baseball,” TC Titans coach Pete Marquez said. “We hit and run when we wanted to and our pitcher kept them off balance. We beat a pretty good team, really.”
