Baseball: Kennewick Phantoms win Duster Bowl

Larry Dewitt got the Phantoms to the title game and from there, Kaden Julian took them to the Duster Bowl title Sunday at LaPierre Field.

Julian threw a complete game, allowing one run on four hits as the Kennewick Phantoms beat the Othello Desert Sox 7-1.

Dylan Wilbert was 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs in the championship game, while Dillon Plew was 2-for-3.

In the semifinal, Dewitt singled in the game-winner in the bottom of the seventh inning. Mark Driver threw a complete game as the Phantoms rallied past the Kennewick Dusters 5-4. Driver struck out eight in the victory, while Julian was 2-for-4 at the plate.

Othello had reached the championship by beat the Richland Knights 3-1, as Ray Arredondo pitched into the fifth to get the victory.
