Hanford Flames split twinbill with Vancouver
Isaac Benard had a double and Hanford erupted for five runs in the bottom of the fourth as the Flames earned a 6-3 win against visiting Vancouver on Friday in the first game of a nonleague doubleheader.

Kennewick Bandits Lose at Cowboy Classic: The Kennewick Bandits lost 2-0 to Reno, Nev., at the Cowboy Classic in Twin Falls, Idaho. The Bandits are 1-1 in tournament play following an 8-2 win on Thursday against Meridian, Idaho. Kennewick will continue pool play 11 a.m. today with a game against Pocatello, and will follow with a 6:30 p.m. contest against tournament host Twin Falls.
