Yakima Beetles outlast Columbia Basin in Sr. Legion

YAKIMA -- Hunter Hanson had three RBI and two doubles to lead the Yakima Pepsi Beetles past the Columbia Basin River Dogs 7-6 on Sunday at Parker Field.

Trenton Dupre, Julian Rivera, Nate Giles and Kevin Smith all had one RBI for the Beetles.

Landon Messmore pitched seven innings for Yakima (2-1), striking out five batters.

The Beetles' game at 5:30 p.m. today against the Kennewick Bandits has been moved to Parker Field.
