Kennewick Junior Bandits split with Walla Walla

Connor Morfin went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs to lift the Kennewick Junior Bandits to an 11-7 win over the Walla Walla Bruins in Game 2 of a Central Washington League junior legion doubleheader Sunday at Walla Walla Community College.

The Bruins won the opener 8-3 thanks to a seven-run fifth inning.

Moses Lake wins Dusters Memorial Day tournament: The Moses Lake Walleyes topped the Hanford Flames 10-3 in the championship game of the Pepsi Cola Dusters Memorial Day Tournament at LaPierre Field in Kennewick. The Flames beat the Richland Knights 10-8 to reach the final.

The Pasco Sun Devils beat the Pepsi Cola Dusters 11-3 for fourth place.
