Roger Ingram Jr., walked with the bases loaded, forcing in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Kennewick Outlaws a 7-6 win over Lakeside Recovery at the AAA American Legion State Tournament in Bellingham.
The win means Kennewick will play the Spokane Bandits at 1 p.m. today in a loser-out contest. The winner then plays Lakeside Recovery 30 minutes after the first game for the state title.
Ingram led the Outlaws offensively by scoring twice and driving in three runs. Tyler Detloff added three hits for Kennewick, while Dillon Plew and Josh Kutzke each had two.
Colton Plew picked up the victory in relief.

Because the state of Washington will send the top two teams in the tournament to the Northwest Regionals next week in Wyoming, if the Outlaws beat Spokane today, they will advance to regionals.

AA STATE TOURNAMENT: Tanner Kirk pitched a complete game, scattering two hits and striking out three to lead the Kennewick Pepsi Cola Dusters to a 2-1 victory over Bellingham at Olympia High School.
The Dusters, 3-0 in tournament action, will play at 6 p.m. today against Mt. Vernon.
After Bellingham took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, the Dusters tied the score in the second with an RBI double from Logan Smith.
In the third, Nate Gee scored from second on a throwing error by the Bellingham shortstop to score the go-ahead run.
Blake Marboe was 2-for-3 at the plate for the Dusters.

MOLNAR TOSSES NO-HITTER: Kyle Molnar struck out 8 on his way to a complete-game no-hitter as the visiting Walla Walla Sweets beat the Kitsap BlueJackets 2-0 in West Coast League play on Monday.
Molnar, who will be a freshman at UCLA this fall, only walked three batters.
Nick Halamandaris, from Cal-Berkley, had two hits, including a home run, and drove in both runs for the Sweets.
LITTLE LEAGUE 12: Walla Walla Valley stayed alive in the state Little League tournament in Woodinville by defeating Spokane South 6-1.
The team now faces Gig Harbor American at 3 p.m. today in another loser-out contest.
