Former Walla Walla Community College star Mike Paulson drove in four runs, John Skrbec and Matt Mendenhall added home runs and the visiting Walla Walla Sweets routed the Victoria Harbour Cats 11-2 in a West Coast League baseball game Tuesday night.

For Mendenhall, it was the second home run of the season for the Southridge High graduate.

Renae Martinez led the Sweets’ offensive onslaught, collecting three of the team’s 11 hits.

Lefty Matt Hall earned the victory to go 3-1 this season.

TITANS SWEEP PACKERS: Mason Hilty had a home run, double and four RBIs as the Twin City Titans routed the visiting Apple Valley Packers 15-3 to complete a Central Washington League Senior American Legion doubleheader sweep at Richland High.

The Titans won the opener 6-3, as Gibson McGeorge and Hilty combined to throw a three-hitter.

KENNEWICK PHANTOMS 6-2, KENNEWICK JR. BANDITS 3-5: Ryan Sanders and Matthew Oldhame combined to scatter seven hits as the host Kennewick Jr. Bandits defeated the Kennewick Phantyoms 5-3 to salvage a Central Washington League South Junior American Legion baseball doubleheader split at Southridge High School.

The Phantoms won the opener 6-3, as Quentin Lafontaine and Brady Dixon each had two hits.

The two teams meet for a single game at 5 p.m. today at Roy Johnson Field.
