Monday's Mid-Columbia roundup

Three Rivers Lacrosse, an amalgam of players from Tri-Cities high schools, took up half of the 12 spots on the District II All-Central South Conference team.

Attackers Zack Mabry and Mario Midili, middies Hollan Brown and Damon Taylor, and defenders Evan “Big E” Smith and Christian Burrop received all-conference honors after leading the Coyotes to the Division II state semifinals last spring. Midili, a sophomore, is the only non-senior of the bunch.

A pair of local golfers will tee off today in the U.S. Women’s Amateur qualifying round on the Prospector Course at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum.
