Izayah Darby singled in Brock Sittman with one out in the bottom of the seventh to give the Kennewick Phantoms a 6-5 win Tuesday over the Richland Knights and ownership of the CWL Junior Legion's third -- and final -- seed to state.
Mark Driver had a home run to help Kennewick, and Payton Radliff drove in two runs for Richland's cause.
"It's a good win for these kids and will give them a great experience going up to state," Kennewick Phantoms manager Corey Nelson said.
This will be the Phantoms' third consecutive state trip.

Hanford took the top seed with a 6-0 win against the Phantoms on Monday, and Walla Walla locked up the second seed with a win over Richland.
The American Junior Legion state finals are scheduled to begin Saturday and run through Aug. 2 in Anacortes.

Trevor Hammit hit a one-out single to right-center in the bottom of the ninth to score Chandler Symons as Richland slipped past Mt. St. Helens 5-4 in a semifinal matchup Tuesday at the Babe Ruth 14-year-olds state tournament in Elma.
Richland will face Twin Cities at noon today in the championship.

Richland's Alex Moore shot 3-over par 73 in the first round of the 46th Pacific Coast Amateur Championship on Tuesday at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.
Moore is in fourth place entering today's play Kennewick's Gregg LaVoie shot a 75 to enter the second round sitting at 12th.
Honolulu's Lorens Chan and Gaston De La Torre of Brush Prairie, Wash., both shot even-par 70's to share the top of the leaderboard.
Meanwhile, the WSGA team -- Olympia's Jarred Bossio (73), Kent's Nicholas Varelia (80) and Ellensburg's Dan Whitaker (86) -- finished sixth on the day with a combined 153.
